I bought this for my daughter. The first thing during the unpackaging was one of the side mirrors broke. The horses do not stay standing up and the back doors swing open so the horses fall out. She is so frustrated with it that she gave up. That was a waste of money. Use strategy to determine which horse to enter into which class with which accessories. 'Horse Show' takes a little while to learn, but after that it moves quickly. If I could change one thing about this game, I would put information on the personalities, talents, etc. for each horse on the backs of the cards, like Herd Your Horses does. But it's fun to make up personalities, breeds, experience levels and other things horses for sale for the horses and pick your favorites. If you're looking for an exciting horsey game to play, try 'Horse Show'. Even though my 2-year-old is a little short and sometimes struggles to climb on, he has a ball when he's on the horse. He loves the leather saddle and petting the horses mane and tail. He loves his horsey!
